On each Kindle, you can check the system number to help determine which Kindle model you have.

From the main screen, swipe down from the upper right hand corner. Tap the more button. In settings, tap on device and tap about: Your system number will be listed on that screen. Compare your system number with the system numbers below to determine if you have a Kindle model that is supported for N2A.

Gen1 System Number – 6.x.x - Kindle supported with N2A
Gen2 System Number– 10.x.x - Kindle supported with N2A
Original HD7 System Number– 7.x.x - Kindle supported with N2A
HD 8.9 System Number – 8.x.x - Kindle supported with N2A
New HD7 System Number -11.x.x - Kindle Not currently supported with N2A
New HDX System Number– 13.x.x - Kindle Not currently supported with N2A

Another way to help determine which Kindle you have is to identify if it has a camera.

Gen1 – No Camera – Kindle supported with N2A
Gen2 – No Camera - Kindle supported with N2A
Original HD 7 – Front facing camera - Kindle supported with N2A
HD 8.9 – Front facing camera - Kindle supported with N2A
New HD7 – No front facing camera – Kindle Not currently supported with N2A
New HDX – Front facing camera – Kindle Not currently supported with N2A

Using the information above, you should be able to find out which Kindle Fire model you have in order to determine if N2A Android can be installed on to your Kindle.
